You might wonder what does Canon EOS M Camera has to do with this blog. Now Canon SX50 or any other bridge camera comes with huge inbuilt lens so those cameras really don't need external big lenses. Also you can't fix a big external interchangeable lens to a Canon SX50 HS even if you want. These cameras are not built for that. I highly doubt they will do that even in their next model which would be Canon SX60 HS camera which is due to release in this year. What if you want a compact size point and shoot camera which also can take those big lenses ? Canon Now has a solution for that too. Yes now you can do it with Canon EOS M.

There are 2 things you might want to call as downsides of this camera. No inbuilt flash. Yep you need have a flash like Canon Speedlite 90EX or Canon Speedlite 270EX flash or if you don't have one better buy it along with the camera. No view finder either. Even though you can use whole range of lenses it's quite impractical to mount a huge telephoto lens and take photos hand held. So basically the camera works  lot better with smaller lenses.

Retail price of 90EX flash is $150 at Amazon with free shipping so last offer looks pretty good (you get the flash for around $90). It's not a cheap replacement for a DSLR camera. It's a good pocket DSLR camera if you already have all Lenses and stuff. Or you need DSLR quality photos and ability to mount lenses. This won't be a backup camera for weddings or anything.

Canon SX50 HS camera is great but if your budget is not enough for that then here's your next option. Canons New budget bridge camera , Canon Powershot SX510 HS Camera. This camera is so much better than it's previous moedel which is Canon SX500. I guess if you look at configarations you can see why it's so cool and really bargain for it's price.

Price of  SX510 HS camera is only $200 at Amazon with free shipping. Why it's totally worth the price ? Lets see. This camera has a 30x optical zoom lens same like SX500. Why this zoom lens is good ? Because even most of Canon Bridge cameras Because none of older models like Canon SX10 or Canon SX20 has longer lens like that. So if you want to upgrade from your old bridge camera but budget is too low for Canon SX50 or upcoming Canon SX60 HS camera then this might be your option.

Canon SX510 camera comes with a 12.1 MP CMOS sensor and with 30x optical zoom this can be a great combination for taking zoom photos. This is one good upgrade from all older models. Also it can do 1080p full HD video in stereo sound. So if I want to higher pocket size zoom camera which is cheaper but can take great photos then This is the best option in market right now. Specially if your budget is $200 or less.
